Help with Ranger's pet - Guild Wars Forums

Yeah, ive looked around, and havnt found anything about this...so im more curious about what the pet can actually do...
1) Can you change your pets name?
2) Is there a way to see your pets stats?
3) A) Does your pet gain levels
3) B) Does your pet gain levels from just enemies, or can it gain xp from quests
4) Is there a way to control your pet, so that you can get it to attack a different guy then you are, or you can make it attack before you attack

Yeah...im noobish...ive had the game for like 2 days...so any help would be nice...thanks ^^

the AI is very poor, and we have been begging for upgrades for a while. Currently, it attacks your first target (like a henchy would do). However, it is much slower to change targets. There are not real commands of telling it to stay, go ahead, or change targets on the fly, sorry.
